Paediatric Consultation fees

 

Please note that our fee structure will be changing as from the 1st of September 2020.

"COVID-19 update: during the pandemic we are offering bulkbilled initial video consult (no out of pocket) to families in Rural and Regional areas "

If you are unable to make payment please liaise with our admin team. We aim to close the gap  and reduce health inequality by offering Healthcare card holders or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders  in rural areas  bulk billed services

Video Consult fees

 

Initial Video Consult  45 mins   Cost $425  (Out Of Pocket $75) Please see COVID-19 update

Initial appointment with our Paediatricians will be by Video Consults at home.  Telehealth for regional and rural areas are subsidised by Medicare to improve access to health for patients in Rural Areas.  A rebate of $350 will be issued immediately after payment. Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense for initial appointment is $75.

Review Video Consults at home 30 mins  Cost $225  (Out Of Pocket Varies $50-$125)

Medicare allows rebate of around $175 for up to two sessions per year leaving an Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense of $50. If additional reviews are required Medicare rebate of around $100 is made, leaving out  Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense of $125.

Review Video Consults at School/GP 30 mins  Cost Bulk billed  (Out Of Pocket $0)

Video Consults undertaken Jointly at your child’s school or with your GP will be bulk billed leaving no Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense (bulk billed). No payment needs to be made prior to this appointment.

Face to Face Consult fees

Face to Face Initial Consults 60 mins Cost $425 (Out Of Pocket $200)

Payment of $425 will be made at the time of appointment. A rebate of about $225 will be issued immediately after your appointment leaving an Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense of $200.

Face to Face Review Consults 30 mins Cost $225 (Out Of Pocket $100)

Payment of $225 will be made at the time of appointment. For first two reviews in calendar year a rebate of around $125 will be issued immediately after your appointment leaving an Out Of Pocket (OOP) expense of $100.
